Jenkins, who turns 27 next month, has appeared in 44 games with 33 starts the past three seasons with the Washington Redskins, recording 76 tackles, two sacks, six tackles-for-loss and eight quarterback hits.
Jenkins was selected by the Redskins in the second round of the 2011 draft out of Clemson. After missing his entire rookie season with a torn ACL he sustained in a preseason game, the 6-4, 315-pounder appeared in all 16 contests with 14 starts in 2012.
After playing in 12 games in 2013, Jenkins appeared in all 16 contests with 14 starts last season, registering career highs with 29 tackles and three tackles-for-loss.
